ATV ramps provide a great way to load and unload your off-road vehicles. However, the lesser-expensive ramps tend to be quite weak and can easily bend and become damaged. With a small add-on, though, these ramps can become just as tough and useful as the more-expensive kind.
Measure the length of the ramp sides from the first rung to the last.
Cut two pieces of aluminum stripping to this length, using a jigsaw with a metal-cutting blade.
Drill 1/4-inch holes in the middle of both first, both middle, and both last rungs on the ATV ramp. Then, drill the same sized holes in both ends and in the middle of the pieces of aluminum stripping.
Place both pieces of aluminum stripping under each side of the ATV ramp.
Bolts these pieces of stripping to the bottom of the ramp using six 1/4-inch bolts. Secure them as tightly as possible.
